The Long Beach coins finally arrived. I like the 16P even though a decent picture cannot be made yet. Pretty coin in person with very nice luster and very few marks.
The 35S is quite a bit more White looking than the auction photo showed. The coin is OK but for sure it is not what I would call a PQ coin for the grade. In my opinion it is more like a PQ coin for the 65 grade instead of the 66 grade the coin received. For the money spent I will not gripe much about it.
Thats it for now as two more are still on the way. Maybe tomorrow for Red Friday.

That 16 looks super well struck, I'll bet it's a beauty in hand. The 35-S looks nice enough to me for a 66FB from what I can tell from the pics. I added another two upgrades today for "red Friday". Two more still on the way and looking at buying a couple more this weekend if everything falls right.

Ken,
I like 'em both, even though the 35s is white.

I like the toning on the obverse of the '16-P. What was the grade on that one? Hope you're able to get a photo that captures the color and luster, but I know it's hard to do.
Your assessment of the '35-S seems to be right on the mark. The strike and luster are good, though, and you got it for a great price.
