1906 2 1/2 LIBERTY-PCGS AU-58 (GREEN LABEL)???

I have a shot at the coin in the title for $185. That's between "Bid" and "Ask" for this coin. It's a good looker, and shows no sign of cleaning but does have some discoloration.

My question is...does anyone know if this is a fair price? I haven't really done any research and need to make a quick decision. Thanks.

In my opinion, the fact that it has discoloration is as much a positive as it is being in a green label slab. I don't know how common this date is in AU-58, but it's attributes make it sound like a winner.

Thanks Shamika. I've got a good business relationship with this dealer. He lets me walk out the door with ANY coin, no matter price, to check it out in sunlight. No hairlines. Just a touch of rub.

    Heritage says $150-195.

Then there's a possibility I could pick it up cheaper in an auction. But...that means sight unseen.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to go for it!
