Everything is fine, but, I'm taking a break from the forum...

I feel like I need to "re-charge my batteries" for a while.
I'm mentioning this in a thread, so that anyone who wishes to reach me, knows to email me, rather than PM me.
I can be reached at: mark@pinnacle-rarities.com
Please feel free to contact me if I can answer any questions or be of any assistance, or even, just to say "hi". Have fun, but try to behave yourselves while I'm gone.

Mark, no problem, as long as your break is only the weekend (what's left of it). Longer than that and you'll become the focus of Clankeye's diatribe!

GOOD.... Anybody that gives good sound advice, spends a lot of time helping any collector whether seasoned or new, makes sense all the time, spends a bunch of time at shows giving opinions on coins to forum members (even if they bought them somewhere else) is a big asset to the Numismatic community,
and this just happens to be YOU Mr. Feld. And you really don't belong on a US Coin Forum talking coins and giving a lot of your time for others.
Maybe Laura Legend can take your place while you're gone?
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Hey, I finally figured out how to do the hyperlink thing -- now I know what input the second (text) input box was requesting...

Ok, seriously, I think both of them try to give of themselves around here. But, Mark is better suited in many ways because he far -- FAR -- more articulate than Laura is. Not a knock against Laura, but Mark was educated as a lawyer, and lawyers tend to know how to express themselves better than the average person.

Oh, I might need to re-think the kind words I gave him then.
I'm sure you have to prioritize, but thanks for the time you spent. It had great benefit to me.

Take care, and we look forward to your return when your batteries are recharged!

Great idea. I find that I need a vacation from all the boards from time to time. Information gets stale, power plays persist, nonsense is never ending, etc.
You are a smart cookie. Hope to run into you someday.

Mark has excellant insight in the rare coin business, expresses a well thought out point of view, gives good advice (for free, too, unusual to get good advice FOR FREE from a lawyer), and is all in all a voice of reason on this forum. I don't always agree with him, but I thoroughly enjoy reading his posts.
Laura also has excellent posts, she has a totally different style, occasionally perhaps a bit more sharply worded than Mark, but if you've met her and had dealings with her, it reflects her approach to the coin business and her perspective. Laura is very knowledgeable, presents a very concise point of view, doesn't mince words, and all in all expresses a well needed point of view for this forum. - I don't always agree with her, but I thoroughly enjoy reading her posts.
As for CoinGuy taking a break from our forum, I hope he enjoys the respite from waht seems to be a bit too much bickering amounst some of our members. I hope he's back in reasonable time to continue his excellant posts.
