Any Chance of a New Commemorative Coin for the CUBS?

After reading MadMartys post about winning the pennant, I was wondering if the Mint or any of the souvenir coin folks might mint a coin, commemorating this great feat?

I have no expectation of seeing any new coins with the Yankees on a coin, as this is a natural phenomenon, and not worthy of a commemorative coin...not yet that is.

Hey way a minute, what happened to Marty's thread. It was here a second ago. Shoot, pretty good post as well.

Let me see if i can find it.

If the do make any Modern coins of this event, I want one, Shoot PCGS even did a service for the 911 coin, Remember?

Hmm only thing I could find was my response to another member. Oh well perhaps it was lost or my thread blew it up.

Cameron my Friend,

You are a well accepted member of this board and a Young Numismatist. I just have to wonder, why you would sully your reputation, to make such silly remarks about this OT thread or any other for that matter. You have as much right to pass on reading this thread, as you do to read it. Apparently it holds some interest for you, or you would not have commented more than once about it.

Your energy spent on this one Cameron, could perhaps have been spent more wisely on posting an educating post for all of us, or perhaps another great COIN experience for us.

Lighten up Cameron. This is neither NASA nor a classified Presidential briefing board. It is all about having and sharing a little bit of fun.

Oh well, If anyone hears of these coins coming out, i sure would like one. It would even be better to have PCGS slab these suckers and make them a more expensive collectors item.

Only after they beat the tar out of the Yankees for the series!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
