hey everybody

just wondering if anybody going to this show, I found out about it at a little coin shop in Fort Collins,CO.
I'm planning on going, I was just wondering if anybody has been to it in previous years.

It occurs in late october.

Cool!!!!! A coin show here in Denver? And here I thought we were to low-class for all the high-falutin' big wigs.

happy to see that there are some people here that live in or around denver, me on the other hand lives 100 miles away in Laramie, Wyoming. Denver Coin; name the place as long as its in the actual area of the show and I'll meet you there.

Just a correction (maybe) on the dates. I checked the website for the National Western Complex, and it looks like the dates are:
Oct. 30 (Thursday) thru Nov. 3 (Monday). It opens at 9:00 am in the Exhibition Hall.

The addy is: National Western Complex
Do a "Search Schedule" on the right side for October and November...

I'm going to try and get there for at least one of the days. Probably won't be able to afford to buy anything, but should be able to look at some cool coins! Gonna try for Thursday or Friday, depending on what breaks when at work.

Here's a copy of the flier the promoters are putting out. I'm pretty sure the show is Friday October 31 thru Sunday Nov. 2, 2003. I've been to a few of them, and they are usually 3 day shows.

I'll be there on Saturday behind table #74.
I'll be wandering around the show off and on,
but I'll plan to be there around noon on Saturday
(same on Friday).

Well it was a great show, got a few good deals, sold some slabs I didnt need.

I bought a 1923 $20 (polished) for spot price which was a pretty good deal.

Anyway anybody else who was there what kind of transactions did you have?

Well I made it back, survived the show. Show was good but not great (from a dealers perspective). The weather Friday I think hurt things a little. Bought all kinds of stuff too.
