First Day Coin Cover Quarters

I was wondering what the quality of these coins are.

Have many been slabbed by TPGs? What grades are common from these sets.

If you collect these, what is your assessment of the grades they seem to be in.

Thanks

I can't add anything constructive right now. I rooted around the other day, and found the "Medalist Cover Society" set of (3) SBA's that I picked up on a lark. I pulled the SBA's, and will be sending them down next week. They all look pretty nice. I'll letcha know what I get back.

    Cam40,

I've probably seen about three hundred US Mint quarter FDCs and about 20 Sacagawea US Mint FDCs. All the coins are supposed to have been made on the first day of mintage.

However, I've found them to be about the same quality as those in mint sets, if maybe slightly not as good.

Oops! It just dawned on me that those little silver SBA's weren't quarters. Well, I suppose I'm not the first one to be confused by them.

What ursabear said. I never found anything great from them.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
