The Pelham Show - though slow due to football Saturday and the Taladega races has been extremely enjoyable and as usual a great learning experience. Saw several board members at the show including FIVECENTS and HOKOOEKOO and of course some of the coinshow regulars here. A number of us got together for a great meal and great conversation - I tell ya kids - it doesn't get much better than this! image

    I had a great time today, and spent less than $20.

    DAHLONEGA had alot of great stuff to see, but my buget was too small for the great things he had.

    I hadn't thought about it, but Frank, you're right! Sports weekend really cut down on the crowd at the show this time compared to the first one I went to in Pelham back in the Spring.

    Very nice, but two questions beg an answer:

    1. I don't see a pug anywhere?
    2. Why is a lady not seated?

    I just shaved mine off because it was getting way too much gray. I look 10 years younger!

    Sure wish I could have been there. The picture would have been brightened up by my presence, the lady would have had a seat, and, there would have been a lot of empty beer bottles on the table....Ken

    Ken - hate to tellya this buddy - the crowd couldn't have been any brighter or chipper - eventually the lady did sit down, and we were drinking the "good" stuff last nite image
