Offered for $200 - I don't know if there is something wrong with field on right side of obverse above tail - I know all of the warnings about buying raw - but would like to get a good type coin for a reasonable price. Thanks again for opinions - I lurk on this board all the time and value the judgement of its members.
so it's priced like a choice AU, and yes it looks to be AU55 or so, and has an overall pleasing appearance, I like the wing and breast feather detail, nice wreath, not sure about the tail. does the coin appeal?
Since you have not posted here, much, you might not know that I often say "I am reluctant/hesitant to give opinions on coins based upon images" or "No one, no matter how expert of a grader, can grade accurately from images". I am occasionally teased for that, but I can take it!
That said, the color looks a bit off to me. I have doubts as to the coin's originality and suspect that it has been cleaned.
Jeff, yes it is the same coin. I had the auction on my watchlist and sent a photo to Shylock to look at earlier in the week. I guess I had enough doubts about it to pass it up. Looks to me like someone messed with the wingtip to make it look like the 8/7 instead this would be a 7/8 and the area north of the date looks messed with.
Having said this, it could simply be a problem with the photos. I decided to pass, but you can most likely buy it cheaper than $200 if you bid on it.
Edited to add: I agree with Mark, it looks cleaned.
I think thats too much for a raw one sight unseen. I would hope to get it for $160-$170 tops. I didn't notice a return option so I guess its yours to keep if you win.

for a more specific answer, we need a context. Is it offered as unc.? looks choice AU

I think I will pass on this one based on the advice given - Thanks again everyone.
