Think this Flowing Hair $ is worth $1k?

It has been obviously cleaned as you roll it under the light. I'm still considering since these @ the $1k range are few and far between and considering that most (even PCGS) have been cleaned, although this one is too cleaned to get into a holder (except a net ANACS).

Yes because it is a 3 leaf variety. I would not consider it a steal though but a fair price.

L&C has a CH. F in their flier this month for 1400.00. I don't know what you would grade this one but I won't call it much better than good.

My feeling is, when it comes to scare early U.S types, ya gotta go for'em now while you have the chance. In 1998, I agonized over whether I should shell out $425 for an AG 1793 Chain Cent. I passed. I would hardly agonize over that now!

not much better than good??? w/ full rims, the eye socket practically complete, & practically half the eagle's feather detail showing???

i demand you sell me every f-h dollar you own w/ this level of detail for $1000!!!

WHO CARES if it's been cleaned, other than pcgs & ngc! they ain't making any more of these, you know!!!

tough choice, but I think I would rather have 141 of those than I would 40 Lincoln Memorial Pocket Change proofs.
