new state quarter designs - KS, OR, NV, CO

I've just put my submissions for those four states on my web page.
Of those, Oregon is my early favorite (but Nevada is pretty good too !).
Actually, I already had Nevada there, but now I've got the proof rendering too

Nevada and Colorado:

I hope to start machining some prototypes of these soon (like I did with Nevada) !

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Sinin1,
There is no reason that I can't strike a run of these as patterns (prototypes).
In fact, I plan to do that. They will probably be 2-sided with Washington on the other
side (but they won't say "quarter dollar").
Also, the CO is very representative. Wheat with a backdrop of mountains. However, given there is no Denver Bronco symbol, this cannot win!
and the fact that it's appropriate.
The Kansas and Colorado are tremendous designs in all aspects.
I Like them all but the Nevada is my least favorite, though it fits well with the type of designs which have been used to date.

I would say of those, I like the Nevada one best.
"Exactly."

Thanks. I've lived in the Denver area during the entire Bronco existence (1960-present). I've watched quite a few of the games. If I used their logo, I'd want to use the old version (the big "D" with the snorting horse in it). But if the logo was used, the quarters wouldn't be accepted in Oakland or Kansas City !
Your designs are great, and I like the one for my home state best - Kansas!
This would never fly at the mint, but that Kansas Proof quarter would look
really cool with the moon replacing the sun...have no idea what this might
represent symbolically, just thought it would look awesome with the black
and white cameo.
Keep up the nice work!

Too bad Oregon can't re-use the Oregon Trail commemorative design. I really like that one but I guess it wouldn't be original.

I know I'm not supposed to "advertise" stuff for sale here, but since you asked -
Anybody that would like a signed 8.5"x11" color print of any of the designs,
let me know. They are $5 each.
