The hidden dangers of coins

A 46-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition when she dropped
a coin while at a drive-thru window at a McDonald's, then opened her minivan
door to retrieve it, taking her foot off the brake, allowing the van to inch
forward, trapping her head in the open door, which lodged against a post
(Burke, Va., August).

    What are the odds she sues MacDonalds for not having a warning about "do not pick up dropped change?" Worked for the hot coffee spiller, so why not?

    usually when I drop change at drive through windows they tell me not to pick it up because they have someone go out there later and collect it all.

    Ouch! Maybe there is a lesson here for everyone. When picking up change at a drive through, put your car's gear in PARK!

    There could be a coin of the idiot that put a jet engine on his car, and then only left skid marks on the road and a black smoldering crater on the side of a cliff wall, there's the potential for a HUGE series......

    Whenever I drop change in the drive-thru, I leave it. Sometimes I do it on purpose, even dollar bills. As I pull away, It's fun to watch in my rearview mirror as the less fortunate (read: bums) in my area scramble to see who can grab the money.

    I can think of a dozen reasons not to have high capacity magazines, but it's the reasons I haven't thought about that I need them.
