First coin photo

Finally got a halfway decent shot of a coin.
I'm using a Sony Cybershot 3.2 megapixal.
I reduced the file size so it would load faster but resolution suffers.
Tell me what you think but please be gentle !

Could be a little brighter, but looks good for a first attempt.

(Not that I'm any further along, still being stuck in the scanner age, myself...)

If you compress the image a bit harder ~75 on the jpg quality scale you can make a nice image about twice as big with the same size.

Good picture. A little flat and a little off color but a hell of a first shot!

BTW: If you want to reduce the size of your originals, you might try this site.

At 43k (the size of your small picture), you should be able to have a very big picture using that site.
