Decided on a 1900 date set, help needed

Hey, newbie here. I finally decided to take the plunge and get deeper than 1999+ proofs. I want a decent date set from 1900. Here are a few coins I am looking at. 1900 Indian and Morgan Dollar What do y'all think. Please don't tell me to go at least MS60. I think I want raw coins. Should I buy now or wait 'till the March Texarkana show? This is not a WTB post but PM me if you want to help a budget collector. Thanks

I would not go for the Indian cent as it looks harshly cleaned and is already overpriced. What condition are you looking at trying to acquire? I'm doing a 1861 date set myself, but I'm going for MS-62+, when affordable. 1900 Indian cents are very, very plentiful. In the lower circulated grades, you can practically buy them by the bag.

    What he said.

VF+ is certainly achievable on a budget. But just because you're on a budget and are looking for less expensive circulated coins, it doesn't mean you shouldn't be picky, obviously. It kind of goes without saying that you should buy the absolutely highest quality you can afford for each type, and avoid harshly cleaned pieces (like that Indian cent), and other "problem" coins.

I would wait its much easier to shop for raw coins in person.
