Another Undiscovered Slab? (Not really, but it isn't in Conder's book)

Just found this and thought he & others might be interested. I have his book and this company isn't in there. (I think) Not really a third party grading company, but he does list this type of thing.

Listed as ARC. Described on pages 27, 28 and pictured on Page 126. The certificate and the coin were sealed together as a unit but it could be split into the two separate parts as shown in the auction.

They did guarantee authenticity, provided a grade, and accepted submissions from the public. Sounds like a TPG to me.
I was just trying to be helpful!

Sounds like Bruce Maag of Coins, Cards, and Currency. that's his standard answer.
In late 2002 Accugrade began an encapsulation service where you could buy a license and for a small fee per coin you could create your "own" certification service. The coins would be sealed in ACG style shells but with your own labels. ACG only did the slabbing. You were responsible for the authenticity and any information on the label, the ACG personel would not grade or authenticate the coins in any way. At the time the book cut off new information I had only seen one company using this service, S & G Coins out of Florida. They are listed in the book and S&G came in two varieties. The last I knew there were 14 companies that had or were using the service, but I have only seen three of them. S & G Coins (S&G), Coins Cards and Currency (CCC), and Rich Stiles. (I have seen a Rich Stiles piece but do not own one.) If anyone sees any of the other eleven I would like to see them.
