no patches. the boggs is from a 1986 jersey. if i recall correctly (there's no team name on the card), boggs was w/boston in '86

what did you pay for the box? Is that your first box? I really liked this stuff but your box wasn't that great

my first box this year yes. i got the box for a little bit less than $80- which is cheap compared to ebay/most card shops. i was hoping for cards of players i like (maddux, palmeiro, blalock, prior), but didn't get them...though i do like wade boggs simply for nostalgia value/ childhood memories. at least i won the blalock mirror blue auto #1/50 off ebay from the product, so i can't complain too loudly.

other box breaks this week= sp game used (2), topps 1st edition. lately i've had better luck buying packs separately...though my absolute memorabilia box was pretty good.

i got a break on the box just b/c it's a shop i go to/usually buy my boxes/packs from (though lately i've been buying boxes off ebay). he's sold out of his leaf certified except for a few packs- which he's charging $12/pack for. hopefully i'll have better luck w/sp game used bsk. i'll likely end up picking up the certified autos i want off ebay...boxes rarely give me the few players i collect and i'm not that fond of gu'ed stuff...at least my 1985 topps wax packs came today haha...those were the good old days of opening packs in my view.

giambi's for sale. bv=15 according to the most recent beckett. players i collect= maddux, palmeiro, prior, blalock, bullington...or basketball- jordan, kidd, iverson, duncan, carter, stoudemire, ming, garnett. i prefer older/rcs of these players rather than newer cards.

i'd prefer to sell it simply b/c i have more cards than i can count at this point (over 20,000+) and need to start thinning some of those out. pm me w/an offer.
