Ever have a coin cross at a higher grade while still in the slab?

Has anyone sent in a NGC coin and marked it "cross at any grade" and it came back a grade higher?

Yes. Most recently at the St. Louis show. Had just bought a MS 66 IHC 1860 for $2500 at auction. Later on the floor saw a NGC 65 I liked even better for $950. It crossed (at any grade) first time to PCGS 66, so I sold the other 1860.

Only icg for me so far. Maybe a better question would be since pcgs stopped covering the grade on the slabs.

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

My test 82-D Washington Half was submitted to NCS/NGC in an ANACS 67 slab, and came back NGC 68.
