At what price do coins NEVER cross from NGC to PCGS?

In one of my prior topics, there was a reply from someone that dealers have given up on crossing high dollar coins from NGC to PCGS. What is the ceiling? Should I bother on a $ 4,000 coin? $ 2,000? $ 1,000? Is there a "cap". Why do you think that PCGS will not cross high dollar coins? Is it more related to PRICE or POP?

I guess the real question is.... is supply and demand REALLY setting the prices on high dollar coins or is it the actual population on a coin in a PCGS holder? Think about that......... if a lot of nice coins from NGC crossed to PCGS and say a PCGS population went from 15 to 55 over night, WOULD THE VALUE OF THAT COIN DEMINISH becasue of the population? (This may be the reason.......)

That's BS. I've crossed $300,000 coins from NGC to PCGS. It's all about the grade. There are slightly different standards between the two companies. Coins that warrant being crossed are for the most part crossed. Sometimes, due to the plastic hiding the flash, coins have to be cracked to cross. But eventually, all coins that warrant crossing are crossed.
