Maine SQ with filled die?

My father in law got a roll of Maine SQ from somewhere, and at the top of one of the coins the letters "MA"are missing as well as the "1" from the date under it ( i think it's 1820)
looks like a filled die to me, but since the coin is quite bag-marked, i told him i thought it would only bring a slight premium. has any body heard of any of these floating around?
