Link.

Here's a guy with 100% positive feedback who is keyword spamming (like Hager) to sell a crap slab. Says something, doesn't it?

One of satan's minions. A demon not as powerful as HAGAR, but from the same mold.
  • I wonder how effective this strategy is. Someone does a search for PCGS, NGC, ANACS etc. and this slab comes up. Obviously when the auction comes up, they'll see it's TruGrade and not one of the other services and decide to bid or not. I guess I just don't see what the point would be to doing this.

The point is simple. The demon in question has the following strategy.

    1. A newbie from the hobby gets recommendations from respectable sources to purchase PCGS and NGC coins only.
    2. The newbie does a search for PCGS/NGC on Ebay.
    3. The newbie has only be collecting for three months and does not know what the different holders look like. He can't tell the difference between a 2x2 and a slab.
    4. The newbie buys a CRAPFALSEGRADE-PF70 coin.
    5. The newbie is hard up for money and brings it to sell it to the local dealer next year.
    6. The dealer gives him a fair price based on what a raw coin would bring in a useless holder.
    7. The newbie is pissed off and never returns to the hobby, the hobby suffers.
    8. Buyer beware, yes, any excuses for stupidity , no!!!, the hobby still sufferes!, yes!

  • That looks like a $12 Frankie.
  • Again, thanks to the anonymous person that reported the key word spamming in that sale. I just reported it and eBay responded that it had already been reported.

i looked at his 395 feedbacks more than half of his 100% rating ...was purchases!

  • 9 day auction and close to 400 people have looked at it and still "NO" sale!image

Since most of this sellers feedbacks are from "buying" he probably was the idiot that bought this at a rediculous price from some other unscrupulous seller, and now he/she is trying to unload it!image

One things for certain....... If he keeps selling this "crap" he won't have the 100% positives for long!image
