Is this PCGS holder real?

I know it's only an SAC but this holder looks funky. Price is also low. No bar code on front?

    In the Cert Verification of PCGS you can introduce the reg # to check.
    Bellow the result for that coin:

    Guess it just doesn't look like the rest of the slabs I own. A cert number is to get these days

    There have been many changes in holder labels and style. A poster here, Condor101, has even written a book detailing the changes in holders. The one you mention is fairly recent, but not the latest. Other major changes include the green label holders which are older and the "rattlers" which are older still.

    you can look up the seriel number on the pcgs web site to confirm the coin it that is the same coin then I'd say go for it

    this is just an older generation slab, right now on the us forum condor has posted a thread called pcgs generations that has all of the generations plus it even shows pictures for fake slabs, very informative
