Grades are in:

I find that I really enjoy seeing others grades posted when they get them. Heres my latest:

LINE # CERT # COIN DATE DENOMINATION VARIETY GRADE
1 21340593 1963 10C PR68 thought sure this would be 69 or 70
2 21340594 1968 10C MS67 much tougher than the D-mint, looks like a proof
3 21340595 1951 25C PR66 bought for PR64 money
4 21340596 1953 50C MS64
5 21340597 1953-S 50C MS65 all three of these S-Franks had 66 potential, I will probably crack them
6 21340598 1954-S 50C MS65 and tone them up
6 21340599 1954-S 50C MS65
7 21340600 1956 50C Type 2 PR68CA cracked out of a pcgs 67 DCAM! will go back for regrade

interesting to note that these shipped only two hours after I got the "your grades have been finalized" email. seems like they have really improved the expediency of the mailing.

I've lost count of the number of times I've seen this scenario with PCGS. Coins that are right on the cusp grading DCAM at one grade level, or going cameo with a one point bump and vice- versa. I've also seen plenty of "almost there" cameos grade brilliant, but with a one point bump in the technical grade.

    Greg,
Looks like you have got some good ones. Ok. I'll play too. I am a little disapointed in the part time (modern grader) help D.H. keeps raving about. I too have some to crack outs image I still love PCGS! image Maybe when this Hot Market slows down and the part timer moves on, I can resubmit some of these. I'm not trying to pick on their part time help, but looking at what I have in hand and pictures of James' Ikes, I still think I should have had at least 1 MS67 Ike image
