1966 #124 Tug McGraw completed auction
I saw this card on eBay before it closed and thought it went pretty steep at $290, in line of a PSA-8 Aaron or Palmer rookie from the same set. I attempted a '66 set a few times and didn't think this was that rough of a card, in fact I think I had a McGraw. I'll bow to the resident '66 experts FUZZ & PC for their take on the auction...jay

Looks like a bidding war to me.

good 30.00 card
PC - I figured as much that it should go for $10 or so over a common price...jay

I checked my records and it doesn't seem like a hard card to me. I have been doing very little on 66 BB this year but even the third highest bidder was over $150 which impresses me as high. An old pop report shows it as pretty high even back then.
I think Keith got lucky on that one. He's a good guy and deserves the break.
pc when you sell out at $200 .... send the leftovers my way.

though i suspect you have 3 complete sets by now.
am down to 5 cards in 8 or better.
Tug in an 8 is a pop. 22, with 2 9's. Should be another one pop up within a month or so. These two guys should invest in a pop. report...might not save 'em any money, but it could control their habit.
