As you well know, some coins are a paradox. They can have beautiful toning, but that generally kills the contrast needed for a DCAM designation. How "white" do the devices on a toned CAM/DCAM need to be to receive the designation? Are there "special" coins with a combination of toning and DCAM beneath the color that can be designated as such? Or is toning pretty much a killer on CAM/DCAM? Thanks, Randy

No hard and fast rule, but I'd say that approximately 50% of the white of the devices must show clearly.
