Brian, I dont know if that is it or not. I have had people tell me it was machine doubling and NGC was not sure what it was because they had never seen anything like it before. It Reverses itself at the E in Liberty north of Kennedy's head. What it appears like to me is that the coin was struck twice with the second stiking being off... on the rim of the coin north of Kennedy's head you can see that there was two strikings. I thought that with the new minting technique that the coin was only suppose to be struck once.
