    James,
I think this showed up on the pop within the last week (7-10 days). I thought it maybe a silver pr-69, cause it has not been posted here by anyone screaming "I made this" image

    Thats what I thought!

Sure would be nice if we could clear this up!

I just felt a deep THUD. Was it an earthquake? No. Just the bottom dropping from the MS68 prices. My pop report shows it there.

If GRANDAM made it, wouldn't he have posted a "I made it" thread? He usually does. That is unless he passed out when he found out.

I DID NOT make a 1973-S in MS69 & have quit posting my results due too many negative PM's over doing so.

GRANDAM, Don't let other people's jealousy and envy stop you from enjoying and sharing your coins. I think it's clinical name is "Ike Envy". image

Hey, my coin is bigger than yours. Oh wait, no it isn't... ...never mind.

  • I also stopped talking about my TOP POP's here.

I think if certain people have their way on this forum there will be no posts here at all.

    DRG - Yes, I understand.

I welcome posts like the #2 SBA set for sale. What an opportunity to have first shot at great coins or collections before they go off to dealers on consignment or to auction houses.

Incidently, the pop 2/0 1974(s) Ike in PCGS-MS69 is sitting at $8,000 plus commish in the Long Beach Heritage sale. It will be interesting to see if the coin sells. Heritage gave this modern coin too small a picture and space in the auction catalog IMHO. For a great modern coin like that one, 1/2 page would have been appropriate I believe. It's just a matter of time though image

  • DRG and GrandAm,

Please don't let a few modern haters keep you from sharing your Ike results with us.

And if you make and are selling a top pop don't let the complainers who hate auctions
    stop you from posting either.

Unless a CU moderator is saying not to do something don't give it too much weight.
