Last time through.

I looked at a table of SEGS graded Morgans at the Anaheim show with an open mind, viewed the coins and not the holders. There were some nice examples but there is just no way I was going to pay damn near 66 money for a 64 sitting in a 65 holder or even if it was raw. Unfortunately, many dealers cling to overgraded certs. and won't go below gray.
Most of the coins that were crossed have been owned by me for at least a couple of years. It is only recently that I became interested in the PCGS Registry Set and thus the need to attempt the crossover.
I am mostly happy with the results. The 1895-O was the one that really upset me, but other than that a pretty good result.
The total cost for the crossover on this order was $211 plus my shipping costs to PCGS (approx. $9 since this was about one fourth of the package submitted). Since I already owned the coins in the slabs that I submitted, I felt the cost was worth it. To buy 12 PCGS-certified coins and sell the ones that I had takes time and time is money.
Oh, by the way, I do submit them in their original slabs.
