A few months ago there was talk of Sweet Caporal Pins and the holders. I called Peter Ma and asked if they would grade these coins. A few short days later he called to say send em in.
Neil. do you know if they were holdered in a (the) coin holder. I have seen a few Colgan's Chips in the coin holder, but heard it was a one time deal or something they did for Superior (that could be off-base).
If so did the coin graders or card graders grade it? interesting, as the grading scale for coins is different (I believe) also if they had to go to the other facility.. that was pretty quick turnaround.
All 9's, I think you get a bronzed plaque or a door prize for that too!
Dave, I called PSA today and they said it they were graded by card graders. Yes, they are in the coin holders, like the sweet cap pins. It was the free submission for renewing, and I was curious to see if they used the coin or card scale - I assumed they are different. I am looking forward to seeing these, and getting some common players graded. I bought a whole bunch for like a buck a piece or something, and thought they were pretty cool. I will post a pic when they arrive.
1420 Nice submission always nice seeing 9's.Post some scans when you get them I would like to see the holder as well. Just wondering what service level you used for a fast turnaround?
Neil. I think maybe i meant to say i saw sweet caps holdered. anyways, I had a box full of mint '71 coins at one time, i'll bet they would sell for more than a few bucks in psa 9 holders, and I wouldn't have to worry about wether or not they were trimmed
I have 2 holdered Salada coins and I was told, maybe a year ago, by PSA that they would no longer be grading coins. I guess this means that this is no longer the case.
The 7+ coins in the holders really do look sharp. I am glad they are doing this again.
