Grading Submissions?

Mr. Hall, Does the same grader review all coins on one submission? If I send it a lot of different issued coins, several Franklins, Proof Roosevelts, Early Coppers and some 1840's gold Eagles, does the same person review and grade all these, or do they get sent to graders who specialize in the different areas?
Thanks,
Jeffnpcb

The full time graders at PCGS all have a wide range of grading expertise. Every coin in a submission is graded by whichever grader works on that submission.

We do have a few part time graders who have specialized skills. For example, one of our part time graders has a world class eye for 20th Century material, but he has limited experience with gold coins. If you sent a submission with gold coins included, this grader would not grade any of the coins in that submission.
