1969 Topps Madmen

I think fairway is walking around with a big woody with the prices those PSA 9's are going for. Do you believe $820 for the WS card? I wish I had my 9's back I could of bought another horse with that kind of money.

  • House or Horse?

I thought you lived in an apartment.

Of course, if you had a talking horse, you could have a house with a horse.

Race Horse , I collect them
  • Yeah Bob, you sold me that card a year or two for $50. What's it worth 364 days of the year? $50. Looks like Gus and VFMA have driven the prices up a lot lately.

  • These crazy prices are making it very difficult for me to improve on my #18 registry ranking.

I do have a lead on some raw. I hope they are in nice condition.
  • Bob

That is freakin crazy. I wonder what my 10 is worth. I think I will offer it to the winner for 2000 and request the 9 in exchange.

I don't recall the exact price but that sounds about right. For you, I'll make a special deal at $5,000. image Actually with my track record in long term investments, I'll probably finally sell it when the market for it has returned to $50. image
  • This is way off the subject but I was wondering if any 69er's were going to the Chicago Sun Times Show coming up? I am new to the registry and would like to meet the other people from the board. Also, I am happy to say I finally broke into the top 20 under the listing The Surwillo Set. Just curious.

    Thanks,

    Glen

So full of action, my name should be a verb.

THIS SCARES ME. THESE TWO BIDDERS ARE IN LEFT FIELD. A LITTLE LIKE NASDQ, TOO MUCH MONEY FOCUSED IN THE ONE DIRECTION. IT IS NOT AN INDICATION OF THE REAL MARKET VALUE OF THE 1969 TOPPS SET-- IF YOU NEED (WAN'T) MONEY-----SELL YOUR GRADED 9's and 10's TO THESE IDIOTS.
