I sent in five modern bulk lots for grading purposes. This is what I got back when I questioned one of the lots:

Order xxxxxxx was received by you on 07/31/03 and sent on 08/27/03
Order xxxxxxx was received by you on 08/20/03 and sent on 09/02/03
Order xxxxxxx was received by you on 08/06/03 and has not been sent.
Is there was reason that the 08/06/03 was not sent before the 08/20/03 submission?

Invoice xxxxxxx is currently in the Research Room. If you had any unusual cards in your order that required research it will hold the order up.
The question is, if you see that the cards are in the Research Room, is this the kiss of death, or could it be that they are amazed that all my submissions were PSA 10!!!???
Anyone have this happen before and what was the outcome?
Dale
P.S. - I didn't send in any unusual cards.

I had it happen once before and it was an invoice with some 72 Kellogg's ATG cards on it. When I mentioned to the person that they had already graded several thousand of them, they basically gave me "well then I don't know" and that was that.
In the end, 7 of the 8 Kellogg's came back as 9's. So, I'll take that kind of death-kiss anytime!!
Sets - 1970, 1971 and 1972

Dam stupid typos!!!
No research was necessary on your cards...PSA just has a long standing policy of harassing and/or antagonizing Boggs collectors
I'll bet your grader has been reading the chatter.
You could be doomed forever.
Better summon the omnipotent uber-hero known as Zar-doze (i recommend using Commanche smoke signals)
If that fails, best work out a deal with Satan. He has Darth Grader by the shorties.
It's your only hope of ever seeing those cards alive, not to mention Soup du Jour.
That I almost believe. BUT WHY?????????????
What is the time between when you drop your card in the mail to psa and when you recieve the cards back or have the grades on line called?
No answer? But there has to be a name.
Loves me some shiny!
I hope that they would email or call if there was a problem. Don't want to spend $700 on a modern bulk submission to have most of them come back.
Plus they have two other bulk submissions.
I hate waiting without any conversation on their part.

It takes time to check this submission with all your past submissions and cross reference it to every set you have on the Registry. The Research Room wants to find out if you've been cracking out cards for resubmissions. They are also analyzing all finger prints on the cards and cross-checking them to the FBI database, left over from the WIWAG investigation.
Man, you may never see those cards again.
Condolences.
Then again, maybe they're like the dwarf butcher who backed into the meat grinder and "got a little behind in his work."
