Interesting Ebay Pricing Information on PCGS Graded MS65FBL Franklins

Over the past year I've been tracking Ebay sales for a certain dealer who deals in PCGS graded Franklins. This dealer generally puts up a healthy number of PCGS graded Franklins (20-35) at a time, with no reserve, and all going off within minutes of eachother, so to me, this represents a pretty good cross section of prices for the grades. Of the quality that I've seen, I would say that it is average - sometimes they're nice, sometimes they're OK - basically what I would expect from "sight unseen" material. Over the past year, this dealer has held about 6 different sales, one every couple of months, and I've been tracking prices on MS65FBL's. Now, not every coin has been put up for sale, so the study is by no means scientific. What it did yield is that on average, the prices realized in these sales, is about 50% of CU prices for MS65FBL. Now granted, the numbers range all over the board, but for the most part I didn't see any major surprises, and I was glad to see that prices for these high grade Franklins have been for the most part holding steady.
I'm sorry that the numbers don't line up quite properly, but basically you have the date, type, CU Price, Price realized in these sales, and the percentage or CU price. Good information to have if you're buying Franklins at this level. There are some coins for which there were no sales, so those lines only show the CU price.

I also thought of doing that for Morgan's but it would have been to much work for me.
Thanks
Tom
I'm glad to see I'm not the only persnickity one around these parts.
We ARE watching you.
Thanks Frank....that is a lot of work and very good info to look at. Gives one a perspective on the pricing and series that one wouldn't have otherwise.
Ron
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Thanks!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
