Why wouldn't anyone want to invite you? You're one of the more interesting posters on this forum. Keep your posts and opinions coming, I for one have enjoyed them and learned from them. I don't always (rarely?:Funny agree with you but I ALWAYS read your posts.
Roger: I had discussed with Nick Cascio (OnlyRoosies) sponsoring a lunch dedicated to the Roosie series and Roosevelt dimes specifically. All could attend and discuss Roosies with us. We wanted to obtain sample coins at our expense with a Roosie in them to also pass out to everyone attending the Lunch with our compliments. I made the request at PCGS, but, I was told in an effort to catch up on turnaround times, PCGS has temporarily halted the production of such samples. So, we dropped it and currently have nothing planned. We were excited about getting everyone a sample Roosie and when that failed, we simply lost steam.

I was getting excited about this and offered to sponser the luncheon and pay for the slabs if Mitch handled the arrangements. Mitch graciously offered to split the cost, We both agreed this would be a great idea and a lot of fun and a chance to talk Roosies. I was even going to give PCGS a roll of 55S Roosies to slab. I guess it was just to short a notice for PCGS to get the slabs done. Well we kind of got the wind knocked out of our sails and decided to try to make this work another time when we can give PCGS a little more notice and get there full support.
Thanks Mitch for putting the time in to try and make this work. We'll get it next time.
In the mean time I'll be at long beach Wednesday and Thursday and would love to have lunch with anyone who wants to talk Roosies. Say 11:30 at the Hyatt on Thursday. (Dutch this time)
Redcents, Waldo is right, you are one of the more, let me say, exciting posters on this board. I enjoy reading your posts and would have to admit that even though I don't own a single slabbed Lincoln cent, You have got my wheels spinning thinking about those "redcents". I look on eBay now more then I used to, and may even buy one someday.
