I've decided that it's time that I reorganized my collection and sell off some coins that just don't fit. I'll be selling off certain sets, individual coins, etc. worth well over $100,000 in total.. Some of them I'll list on the Buy and Sell board. The others, should I go with Heritage and is now a good time?

Naturally, it depends on what the coins are.

Heritage I would go for the next signature sale. It's too late now for long beach.
The signature sales seem to get the most exposure vs. the regular weekly auctions.
Heritage web site,catalogs, eBay and the show itself.

What is the typical sellers' fee with Heritage? I see they can be as low as 5% but I'm sure that's a rare occurrence. I'd like to know a general ballpark before I waste my time shipping them some coins and writing it out on their eval. form.

Do not pay a seller's fee, especially if the value of your consignment is as high as you state it is.

5% I belive is the current rate though some say they have negotiated better. I belive they only want more if you want them to do less than a certain value total.

Now is certainly a good time to sell since you'll get strong prices, but by the
same token you could be losing substantial amounts of future gains. If you
want to sell now though then do so. No one goes broke taking a profit.
