My sea-monkeys grew up, got out of the bowl and took the house over. When I saw one wearing my underwear, I blew-up and shot all of the sea-monkeys.....end of problem!

Very pretty, Lucy (seahorses and the coin). I had some live ones in captivity as a kiddy. They are so nice to watch.

I saw a tank fulla these guys at the Florida Aquarium, once. Sea Dragons. Weird. I guess they're camouflaged to look like kelp or somethin'. Cool critters.

Yeah- you should see 'em alive. Really wild. And very graceful, like regular seahorses. They glide around like ghosts. The tank I saw had kelp in it, to demonstrate their camouflage. It was very effective.

BTW I think I remember with seahorses after the eggs are fertilized the male gets to carry them around until 'birth'. At least one species where the male gets to be pregnant!

Then I'll have to post some of the shark teeth I find here. Real monsters, some of 'em. Megalodons. 3, 4, 5, 6 inches long. Found a couple of teeth almost the size of my hand.

Maybe I should do a shark tooth/fossil giveaway...

Hepkitty, those are beautiful little fishies!!!

Here is one I saw recently in England at some Sea World acquarium. Sorry the picture's not too good; the room was dark and no flashes were allowed, plus he was moving.

Hepkitty, you're right; it was a Sea Dragon. They also had many other neat creatures, such as a tank full of different sharks, cruising around. And eels, giant crabs, stingrays, and many others.
