Which pedigrees do you think are the most "important"?

HRH:

Of the "classic" pedigress-Bass, Eliasberg, Benson (?), etc.--in general, which do you think are the most worthy of paying a premium to acquire a coin with the pedigree? Note that I said in general--I know in all cases, buy the coin not the pedigree, but on the average, in your opinion is there one pedigree for which most of the coins generally come nice and so are worthy of a premium?

Thanks in advance.

The most important pedigrees for coins are...

    Eliasberg
    Eliasberg
    Eliasberg!!!!

Actually, the important pedigrees fall into two categories. The great comprehensive collections...i.e. Eliasberg, Norweb, Garrett, etc...and the great specialized collections...i.e. Bass, Naftzger, Jack Lee, etc.

The market place places a premium on the truly great pedigrees, like the collections we recognize in the PCGS Set Registry Hall of Fame.
