Anyone else have this problem with the registry?

Hello all...although I am new to the boards, I have observed for a long time. I recently registered my Henry Aaron Basic set (#3 set, registered as Wrigleybum). I am working on my Master set and am nearing 70% (I have as of yet to register it). Anyways, the result of a recent submission revealed that two of the cards that I submitted, 70-71 Topps Scratch-Offs and a 75 SSPC Promos, were returned ungraded with an N9 code (which means that these are cards that PSA "does not grade"). The problem that I have is that these two cards are part of the 142 cards needed to complete the Master Set. According to the PSA pop report, these cards exist in PSA slabs, I have sent several emails and called on two occasions to PSA Customer Service with NO help. My question is...have any of you experienced the same, and what did you do to remedy the situation. My point is...If I cannot get to 100%, then I ask "what is the point"!image

  • Wow, I hope that it was just a mistake, because I just sent in a set of 1975 SSPC promo cards. They do have these listed on the population reports. That's interesting, I may email/call them to see whats up.
  • I had that same problem, I submitted a 16 card set to PSA in January [1968 Sport Memorbilia All- time] and yes, there are some cards graded in that set, as well as one member who is regestired with 4 cards on that set, they didn't grade none of the cards and said that they were not grading these cards anymore and would not slab them. If they aren't grading these cards anymore, then why keep the set still in the regestry, doesn't make since. I could have been ranked #1 with a complete set, and I'm sure nobodys going to register any more cards from that set. It really sticks looking at that set when only one member has some cards graded and doesn't look like he'll be adding any more to it.

Also I got ticked off at PSA because I charged the grading of those cards on my creditcard, they charged me for 16 cards on my creditcard and then sent me back 16 Free submission coupons to send in. What gives? Why even charge my cards, and oh yes forgot to mention, this was on a PSA Saturday where I can drop off my cards the 1st Saturday of the month and pick up the following Saturday of that month. So no shipping charge is involved...image

  • Did PSA tell you why they don't grade the cards anymore? I see the Scratchoff cards may be a little too large, but I don't know why they wouldn't grade the SSPC Promos or the 1968 Sport Memorbilia All- time cards. I know PSA has been inconsistant on grading certian issues at times, but this is really poor service by PSA.image You should demand a reason from PSA as to why they won't grade the cards. If they have a valid reason to not grade the cards, they should elimate the from the registry, but if they can't come up with a good reason not to grade them they should grade them for you.
