Colletor's club question

It's about time for me to finally sign up for the Collector's club. I noticed that there are two options: 89 dollars for one year and 6 free submissions, or 169 dollars for two years and 10 free submissions. Does anyone know if you can just sign up for two years, one year at a time (totaling 178 dollars) and getting 12 free grades? If that's kosher then that's what I'll do, because who wouldn't pay nine bucks for a couple of extra 7 day turnaround grades?

    PurelyPSA,

This PSA marketing scheme makes such little sense that I assume it was borrowed from SGC. It's like they DONT want people to sign up for the 2 year service and fork over the extra money. If anything, the two year plan should have 2 extra grades than the one year. Currently, the twenty you save from buying 1 two year subscription is negated by the $16-$20 you lose with the 2 fewer grades. I realize the shipping of 2 versus 1 package makes this a wash...but most people will do the "simpler math".

The next genius move would be to "fix" the problem by giving the one year 4 free grades and keep the two year at 10.

We've had PSA employees join threads in the past. Can anyone at PSA help with the logic behind making the 2 year less attractive?

    Regards,

  • these are 7 day grades too.

I think there should be More of the free grades
but just at a lower value.... like the 30 day.

or even better what about an option!

    say 2- 2day grades
    or
    6 - 7day grades
    or
    10 - 15day grades
    or
    20 - 30day grades

    then people could Pick what they needed;
    Volume or speed!

    BKAH,
they want to get you hooked on that "instant gratification" of quick turnaround.

I'd like to see the option of letting you submit 1 batch at $5 per card, 45 day turnaround. They could call it an introductory special or something. I'd do 500 all at once and my membership would be more than paid for.
