1 of 2? Anybody need it?

I just got the results back from PSA from my 25 card submission. Card 178 Don Werth came back a nine. Pop says there is only 1, so I am assuming this is the second one. Someone must need it, right? I'm entertaining offers right now, as my set is really just fine with 8's. I am pretty happy with this submission overall. Before Bigkid says anything, I do apologize, this probably should be on BST board, but I was very pleased with my accidental low pop pull. Incase anyone was wondering, I plucked this card out of the Set-Builders binder at the National even AFTER Eric went through it image.

Submission 4103182 is where you can find it.

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.

    Two things Ian:

    1) It's Don Wert.

    2) I like you. Ever consider the possibility I left it for you?image

    Me neither!

  • Eric,

I did consider that, but considering there were a couple hundred collectors there, what were the possibilities of it still being there about 20 minutes later? image

Speaking of such, how did you do on your invoices of '68s? I remember you picked up a couple that you thought had shots at 9s, curious to see how they did.

I got a fair share of 9's in my 65's, 67's and 68's. Sadly the cards I needed to "8", couldn't so with some help of a few fellow collectors I am within 2 cards of finishing 1968 in 8 or better (1 of the cards is Ryan RC).

Guess what I'm asking Santa Claus to bring me for X-MAS?image

    Forget it EJ,

You're doomed to remain at 99.8% for quite a while. That Ryan Rookie card in 8 or better is only... a pop 400? image

Why don't you just hang it up now and sell off your 68 set? (everyone else seems to be doing it!) image
