Russ, it's because the all-knowing (aka brain-dead) censor has determined that PEACOCK is a filthy word. And you can't pull the same workaround stunt in a title as you can within a post.

You also can't have "peacock" within an image URL either, how lame is that. You can work around that by using % encoding, but c'mon.

Yet, bizarrely, you can use these filthy word fragments in user names, like Cockney.

It's not quite as bad as it used to be... Braddick was finally decriminalized. So I guess I coulda used Peadick in the title, but...
