Good evening David:
With all the hoopala about coin doctors and artificial toning, those of us in the collecting community are starved for factual information on the subject. The boards have been an invaluable tool to try to decipher what's real and what's artificial toning and how to tell the difference, but I think we would all benefit from having the professionals in the field help define the subject better. I would even welcome an ongoing dialog with the collecting community on the subject - there are just too many variables and problems to try to understand, and in the meantime, coin doctors are taking advantage of our lack of knowledge to their benefit. That's just not right. So what do you say, is there time and energy at PCGS to mount such a campaign?
Thanks!
Frank
