Raining here in NY. Surfin' EBAY for my Baseball sets. Disappointed by the lack of vintage SGC and GAI. I have nothing against either company, having bought many of their cards in the past for PSA crossover. The numbers, however, are just not there for GAI and SGC.
1953 Bowman Color: PSA 8 20 cards GAI 8 0 cards SGC 88 0 cards.
1953 Topps: PSA 8 19 cards GAI 8 1 card SGC 88 0 cards
1957 Topps: PSA 8 86 cards GAI 8 0 cards SGC 88 0 cards
1960 Topps: PSA 8 72 cards GAI 8 0 cards SGC 88 1 card
1961 Topps: PSA 8 147 cards GAI 8 0 cards SGC 88 1 card.
I know it's just 5 random sets, but those are some ugly numbers.

Frank - if you'd bother to read the other boards,
you'd know that it's because people who have their cards in other holders,
LOVE their cards and the slabs they're in SO MUCH, that they can't even stand the THOUGHT of parting with them.
Hence; one seldom finds them up for auction.
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
in my case that's true. very good point.
