  • That Type 1 seems right to me, but the Type 3 price is up there.
  • I would agree that the Type 3 price is up there.

Just think, before attributed, these could have been obtained for about $200 or so earlier this year (and a lucky person could have even gotten a Type 1 or Type 2). Now we have them defined for us. image

By the way, did anyone ever see these in the Cherrypicker's Guide ?? image

Well, if the type 3 is a potential upgrade, and it looks pretty good, then maybe it is worth the premium.

Like to sell memoralbilabob some coins. There is no way that coin will upgrade. A decent 65 yes. Luster looks light and there is a nice hit in the obverse field. The coin is worth no more than $300.

Not sure why the common date 72-P would go up in value. The Type I and II yes!

The Type I looks like it went for the right price!

There is one reason the type 3 would increase in price. The population of type 3 coins is actually decreasing as coins are designated as type 1 & 2.

There really are not a lot of MS65 coins out there of any type and now they are spread out over 3 types all with lower individual populations then the prior combined group.

WOW! That makes me feel even better (if that's possible) about the T3 PCGS MS65 I won last week on eBay for $80!
