The King is dead, long live the King...62 Topps has leadership change.

Congrats to Seinbigd for taking the number 1 position in the 1962 Topps Registry. It's an incredibly tough set especially compared to it's 60s counterparts. I think it speaks volumes that the top set isn't even complete yet. Also, not every card has a PSA 8 example.

Does anybody know what happened to the Howard Tiss/Superior set? Was it sold?

I think the new rule will see some great advances on this set (at least if I can do anything about it.)
Call me crazy, but I collect 62 Topps BB.

The Howard Tiss 1962 set sold in the 2002 Superior Winter Wonderland auction for $35,650.00 (includes buyers prem.).

  • Wow, that took a while to register than. I've been collecting since April and he's been first all this time. I guess, it just now got updated. Good to know. Do we know anything about who bought it?

Let me clarify my earlier post. That auction was offered with NO BUYERS FEE....and shipping was free. So $35.650 was the actual bid.
