Tips for getting wax off of cards?

Does anyone have any suggestions for ways of cleaning the wax off of the face of a card that will pass muster when graded?

Off of the front? Panty hose. Off of the back, nothing short of chemicals will work.

Yeah, my wife intially thought I was a freak because I asked her to cut off a peice of old pantyhose. She wouldn't do it unless I explained why.
