David, your response to lincolnsence......

Please explain why you state Jeffersons as "...a pain in the butt and hard to grade"? As that is all I collect (PRs only), I would be very interested in your reply. Thank you

My comment was made strictly from a grader's point of view. Jeffersons are a pain in the butt, because you have to use your glass on nearly every coin (to check the steps.) You can quickly go thru a box of Morgans and not use your glass even once. But grading a box of Jeffersons is very time consuming.

I believe Jeffersons are difficult to grade because...

    1. All nickels coins are somewhat more difficult to grade, because their luster never hits you over the head like a silver coin can. Luster is more subtle for nickel copins.

    2. The design of the Jefferson nickel makes it difficult to find and judge the marks. It takes more time and effort to grade them.
