Coins for Sale from Inheritance

Here are some pictures of a vast array of coins for sale. There are Morgans, Peace dollars, Kennedy halves, a few barber dimes, several rolls of 1940-1962 nickels, some silver mercury dimes and silver Washiongton quarters (about 1930 to 1964 on both these catagories), a 1971 Proof set- never opened and in perfect shape... MUCH more including a few large cents from as early as 1824 (pretty worn).

Many are worn but there are some good dates, especially in the Peace and Morgans...some nice silver Washingtons as well.

Lots of common date Peace dollars in really good shape like 1922 and 1923's.

The "bare" Kennedys are all 1965 to about 1974...the Kennedys in the protective 2x2's are all Silver 1964's.

PM if you have a particular coin in mind...it might be in this mix!

Will sell ENTIRE lot and do research on every coin if someone's VERY interested as this will be a lot of work...I don't mind it if they'll sell for a good price.

More coins available and not in the pictures- above descriptions.

    bhsalesman,

Hi. The 1971 mint set is actually a proof set. Good luc.

What's the date on the second Brit penny? I see an 1868, but the other's too dark in the pic for me to make it out.

The other English cent is dated 1913.

  • What Morgans ya got??
Life can be like a bowl of cherries, sometimes its squishy and full of pits.
  • My best 3 Morgans are on sale on Yahoo auctions.

    An 1882CC PCGS MS65PL

    1880 PCGS MS65

1896 PCGS MS 65 (older green holder)

I have an ad a little further down in this section with the auction numbers and how to find them, etc.

I have a lot of more common date Morgans that are ungraded. Some are really worn, 1878, 1879, 1889, 1900, several 1921's in P, D, and S mintmarks these are pretty good. A couple of worn 1886-O's, a PCGS graded VF25 1884S.

It might be easier if you post a list of what you are interested in or just send it to me by PM.

    Thanks,

    bhsalesman

Out of curiosity, why did you choose yahoo auctions over ebay?
  • Cheaper in a way plus you can control how much publicity your ads get with the feature ads system, and I like their format better

Interesting...ebay probably gets 1000x more traffic. I am going to start a poll on this on the Open Forum.

eBay may get 1000x more total traffic - but if you look at identical items (say a 1964 proof set) in the proof set category, probably less than 2-3 times as many hits

I did some identical/concurrent coin sales on eBay/Yahoo about 6 months ago - eBay grossed 30% more but much of that went to eBay with higher listing fees, higher final value fees, and other options to take dimes and quarters.

Good luck in your sales - did you provide a link or tell us your yahoo handle?
