Thank you luxurywines!!

In case you missed it Jeff sold me his 1934 Goudey PSA set.

I realize they're not 8's but what the hell....at least my goal is realistic!!! It helps me upgrade my 1934 Goudey set considerably!!!

Thanks again Jeff!!

Congrtas GoSoxBoSox on your purchase. I think the Dizzy Dean #6 is one of the nicest looking cards of all time.

  • Thanks John...I agree.

I also thought I'd add the fact the Jeff and I live pretty close to one another so I already have the cards in hand. 15 hours from auction close to receipt of cards is pretty spectacular service....and hand delivered to my place of employement with a bottle of "Luxurywines" high-end red wines thrown in at no charge to toast the deal. Now thats service!!!

Have any of you beat that record time and service on an eBay auction?

    Wow!

Nice upgrade! Looks like the weighted GPA will hit 4.48 at 97.92% complete and you'll have some dups and lower grades to sell off to boot! Again - nice pickup!

    Very nice...congrats.

I would have loved that lot. But just couldn't part with the $$. Great job on the set.

  • Or it could it have been the RARE and very high priced Mad Dog 20/20image
Check out my new web site: Monsters of the Gridiron
  • Or the ULTRA RARE Annie Green Springs image
  • First thanks for the kind words guys but you obviously have a lot to learn about the wine business.... Being on the East coast I would never consider giving any of the above wines to a fellow board member (unless he outsniped me on a card I really wanted). Nope when buying for the sophisticated wine drinker I choose Wild Irish Rose as it is created in upstate NY and the short drive down to Jersey is just the right amount of Interstate Aging in the back of a truck to insure maximum bouquet and flavor... image

Edited to compensate for one half bottle of wine consumption

  • Pics will be added to the set registry page soon enough. I'm just waiting for some other 34's that are at PSA getting graded so I can add everything at once. I've got seven more upgrades comin'.
