About the "guarantee"

Thanks again Dave for you thoughts.

How does PCGS know that a "spot" has grown on a coin while in a PCGS holder or that it"turned" in the holder?? Does PCGS photograph each coin they slab?

I guess what I am saying is that PCGS has a lot of integrity and trust if it is taking the consumers word for it.

PCGS does not photograph every coin...we did this for the first two years or so, but stopped because of the expense and the clog in production.

If a spot grows on a coin then the grade may change and PCGS has to take care of the situation base on its grading guarantee. It's a cost of doing business and a way we protect buyers of our product.
