I'm in!
It's nice to know that PSA, as a company, cares enough to take the time to make this generous offer.
I have several cards that I have thought of submitting, but they are not in sets that I'm collecting. If I win this drawing, I will submit some of these and put them on ebay to benefit Carlos as well.
Thanks again for the generous offer.
JEB.
Thanks,
Dale

Hope I don't get in trouble for this message on ebay but I'm just trying to help the Aponte family out.
I've gotten emails from people asking what is going on in my auctions and I've just been forwarding them here.If anyone can post a link on this message to validate I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

I just wanted to take this chance to thank everyone.
We have received emails and letters from near and far, and have made it our mission to respond to each and every one of them. We have been humbled by your donations, and moved by your stories and well wishes.
After the article came out, I have had numerous people come up to me and tell me what a wonderful community this (message board) is. We could not agree more! However, an interesting by-product emerged from the article that I did not expect. I have instantly become the sport cards authority here in Ashtabula. Strangers have come up to me and asked, “I have a box of cards from 19XX how much do you think they are worth?” I explain that my set has a high value because the cards are graded. After they give me the “what is graded” look. I give them the ten-minute PSA pitch. J
I went to the doctors last week and thing are looking pretty good. Cancer levels are good but my triglycerides are high and my thyroid screen was low. Diet, exercise, and medication should hopefully control this.
In closing, I would again like to thank everyone.
Carlos
As the local sports card authority, expect to see many '87 and '88 Topps cards coming to your doorstep. I had this happen to me last week by a friend of my family. Interestingly, this person had a near complete set of '75 Topps among the mix of worthless cards from '86 - '89. I haven't seen the cards, but I've asked a friend of mine to look at the '75s.
As usual, best wishes and continued success in your collecting efforts.
JEB.
That's not cool at all.I had a feeling it wasn't a good idea to send cash.I will be sending another $5 but in a check.
Oh well,I'm happy to say this much,Virtual and myself(alone too) raised $100 ++++ with our efforts.
