2001-P Vermont PCGS MS69

Interested parties, please PM me with offers and not price questions. The coin is the nicest ms69 I have seen. If you do not agree, I will offer $ back if you wish. It is very flashy and virtually perfect! They are real rough right now on state quarters as I sent in 23 that were real, real nice and thought 3-4 might ms9 and they only picked one of them. If this was 2 months ago things might have been different. Scheduled for Ebay if no deals are made today. This will not be a 4.99 start and no reserve auction either.

Neat coin. What, if anything, is "wrong" with this one? A tick? I'm curious how close to perfect it is.

Red ant.... This is getting old. Time to move on. I think Mark has bent over backwards to put this thing in the past. Mitch is at least throwing in some emotion icons to show he is just having some fun. Please let this go image

Hey guys - let's leave it at this:

    1. Roger - you have made some interesting observations (especially pertaining to pops in the online report vs. registry set pops), but, in doing so, you have hurt Mark's feelings (through brutal worded posts), even though you say you never intended to do so and you "love" Mark. For this, you owe Mark an sincere apology.

    2. Mark - you know as well as I do that when you come on these boards to sell coins, you had better be prepared to address issues concerning your coins and your business practices surrounding those sales. Obviously, Roger had a positive impact on your business practices, because your latest offering on these boards included an explicit return privilege, which was different than how you offered coins in the past on this board. Just agree to restore Roger's bidding privileges on ebay after a 30 day cooling off period for you and let's move on and apologize for the "ant" reference.

First guy to offer his SINCERE apology to the other guy on this thread scores an extra point as well with me (and perhaps the remainder of the "peanut gallery". First guy to keep the debate going, loses 10 points imageimageimage

Mitch, thanks for the attempt and I do, very much appreciate your professionalism, but I have put up with too much for too long.

The libelous posts have been edited and currently show limited traces of the intent to publically emabarrass and hurt my business profits over the last few months but I know what they are. You may not remember them but i do and have about 10 emails from baord members (not including you) supporting me and many are in utter shock concerning his libelous intent. I have a copy of you getting slammed (wrongly the way I had read it, I might add) by a board member for offering to sell him coins still.

Your an Attorney and are used to Libel, slander and harrassment concepts does this still seem out of line?

"I have a copy of you getting slammed (wrongly the way I had read it, I might add) by a board member for offering to sell him coins still."

Mark: Do you think I also have a "case" against this board member? I retired from law 6/02, but, my sales were light this week image

But, seriously, consider putting an end to this now.

You are right Mitch! I'm done with this and will put my efforts into more productive things.

This all could have been an intentionaly thought out scheme to increase post count image
    Ok. I'm in....
All kidding aside, Mark I would like to hear about this coin. Sounds like a dream coin. Bet you were really happy when you saw the grades?

Cointime, I was actually bummed with the grades as i have only seen one la-p that is anywhere close to its quality.

Ken, i'm gonna keep triple posting all of my posts and breaking them up into pieces so that i can get 500 posts and become a veteran member rather than only a lowly Senior Member.
  • Mitch, I always defer to your even-handed UNBIASED assessment of situations. I apologize for anything said that was taken as an insult. My sense of humor is obviously "too brutal" - as you noted some of the things I said were. As for editing, I was just trying to remove things that although I didn't originally intend as mean spirited I acknowledge may have come out or been interpreted that way. As for anything libelous or slanderous, I challenge anyone to tell me what I said that was materially untrue as to the facts. As for my opinions, I don't feel anything presented that was obviously being presented as an opinion and NOT being presented as a fact could ever be labeled as such. As for referring to someone or not in the future, I don't beleive that there are any rules on these boards that preclude ANYONE from asking about or asking about policies of ANYONE else. As for myself, I'll try to only address OBJECTIVE facts observed OR offer opinions that are CLEARLY labeled as such. I never intend to mislead.

AGAIN, I apologize for the reasons previously mentioned. And yes, if I think of a better way to say this later on I might just edit these words to acheive that goal.

I already said this "I'm done with this and will put my efforts into more productive things" That's my final effort on this issue.

<< <i>We'll just sit around all day waiting for Mark's apology. >>

    Wondercoin,

Mark has absolutely nothing to apologize for. Despite Redcents' protestations to the contrary, he leveled a deliberate and calculated attack on Mark, and is now blowing smoke up everybody's asses about how he was "joking". It's crap, and if you weren't so busy revelling in your roll as "ambassador" you'd admit it.
